I hail from Brewer, Maine and graduated from Brewer High School. I graduated from a college in Boston with a degree in Interior design. After living many years in Massachusetts, I moved
back to Maine back in the late 90’s. I love my home here and I also love to travel and have been to many parts of the US and Europe. I am a bit of a health and fitness nut and regardless of the season I get out and enjoy the outdoors, walking about 3 miles a day. Nowadays when you see me most likely I am listening to an audiobook. I love words and I love to read with my ears. Right up until her death in August of 2018 my Mom was my best friend and for many years we reviewed movies together on the radio with ‘Mom and a Movie’, and oh the fun we had. Family is still very important to me and I just recently remarried to a wonderful man who loves the Lord, what an amazing blessing that is. Over the years of my working life I have done interior design, sales and marketing for several large companies and was very happy. However, in 1999 when God gave me the chance to work in radio I found my forever home. I love the work I do on-air here in Maine from food drives to finding fun things to share with my listeners. Those who know me well know me as someone who loves people, animals and laughing at life.
