Dear Listeners and Supporters:
I want to keep you up to date on the results of our recent birthday celebration. Our engineer informed us that we need a new generator at our transmitter site. The one we have is 27 years old and functions “sometimes.” On September 6, you may have noticed we were off air for a while because our generator did not kick on. So far, we have raised just over $30,000. The total cost with a new transfer switch, which will automatically transfer when power is out, will be $43,000. We will order the unit (by faith) since this is a need, and we know God will supply the difference. Please pray and we will keep you informed. It is only needed when power goes out in the Greenfield area but our radio App and our online broadcast are always available.
Later this month is our annual Solution FM fundraiser. Whether you listen to this station or not, it is our mission to use this station to reach the next generation. Solution FM has been on the air now for over 24 years, and it has been difficult to fund this station. With rising costs in electricity, the cost of operation only goes up. We hear from young people that they listen all the time and are blessed by the testimonies and music on Solution FM 105.7. As a former youth director, I know the devil is attacking our kids and grandkids. Secular music sounds nice, but it is full of corruption to entice our young people. If you have children, please filter what they are listening to and consider supporting this station. We only need a few thousand more to completely fund 105.7. If you will come along side of us here at Lighthouse Radio, I promise we will do our best to keep this station broadcasting, as well as WHCF, to reach, encourage, and to save young people.
These stations literally are on the air 24 hours every day because you care, you pray, and you give to make it happen. We praise and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
