Dear Listeners,
As we begin this month, we enter our 45th year of broadcasting. We began on August 10, 1981, broadcasting at 11,000 watts from Black Cap Mountain. It wasn’t long before God opened the door for us to be on Passadumkeag Mountain broadcasting at 100,000 watts reaching into Cananda. WHCF now has five translators reaching most of Central Maine and the Maritimes.
None of this would have been possible without our faithful listener family like you. YOU MADE THIS POSSIBLE! Thank you so much for investing in His Kingdom. Now, we are 24 hours every day spreading the Gospel, reaching all who listen. We cannot even imagine all that God has accomplished through this ministry. We are now praying God opens another door for a translator down on the coast to reach the Camden/Rockland area. Would you join us in praying for this opportunity?
As we reflect on God's faithfulness through the years, Tim wanted to share a personal thought: I was reading a story about a billionaire who found life and money unfulfilling until a friend encouraged him to buy and deliver wheelchairs for 200 kids. As he was leaving, a little boy grabbed his leg so the man would bend down. The child then said, “I just want to remember your face so that when I meet you in Heaven, I'll be able to recognize you and thank you again.” I'm sure many of you will experience the same thing when you get to Heaven. Thank you for your generosity, which has made the last 45 years of life-changing radio possible at WHCF.
As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we'd love for you to be part of what God is doing next. Many have already sent in their birthday gift of $45.00, which is going toward replacing our computer server. Help us by contributing if you can and pray that God continues to use WHCF for His Glory.
