At WHCF, we are passionate about praying for the needs of our listening family. Prayer is an important part of living life together. This is why we want to partner with you in prayer. We encourage you to submit your own prayer requests or pray for the current prayer requests of other listeners.

CURRENT PRAYER REQUESTS​

April 2025
  • Pray for a new Christian school in Gouldsboro, Schoodic Academy, that is working diligently to refurbish and repair a facility. Pray for financial help and protection as there is much to do. Pray God will bless all of their fundraising events and efforts moving forward. Pray they will be able to open in September of this year. 
  • Pray for Jeff who was admitted to the hospital with heart problems.
  • Prayer of comfort and strength for Donnie and Debbie in this difficult time. 
  • From Deane: Good morning Nelson and Dorian You guys do such a great job. I have left a message about my recent diagnosis of thyroid cancer and a surgery I had. Now they are watching another area. So praise God if I can help another sick person letting them know all is well God is in control. I also have knee surgery on the 9th of this month and on the other knee a few months later then on July 7th a needed stomach surgery. I long ago found out that I am on this boat of life but God is the captain, so I go where he directs the ship to go. But no matter what we win on the end he has all his faithful in his hands Love you all, Deane 
  • From Sally: Thankful for her little country church in Passadumkeag and thankful for her new young pastor and his sweet family. All winter, the church septic was frozen, and they met in the parsonage. This past weekend was the first time they were able to meet at the church and 12 new people showed up. They've been praying the God would help them reach their community and to see the church grow.
  • Healing prayer for Brandi as she is battling leukemia and will spend two months in Boston. Praise God that bone marrow transplant has been found. 
  • Please pray for Nadine as she has taken a bad fall getting injured severely. She has a long road to recovery ahead of her.  

March 2025
  • Praise that young Rylie is finally home in his battle with cancer around the heart.
  • My Brother In-Law Martin Johnson has been diagnosed with incurable cancer, he has a massive tumor involving his Esophagus and stomach along with multiple other issues. Two years ago he had a stroke after heart surgery, and he has been paralyzed on the right side and bed ridden to this day. The out look is grave, the timeline of life is not known. Please pray for Martin, his wife Marja, and Daughters Meika, and Megan, and their families. 
  • Prayer of comfort for the family of Iffy Sargent who passed suddenly and recently.  
  • Continued prayers for Brandy as she'll undergo more chemo treatments today (1/15). She is also in need of a bone marrow transplant. 
  • Prayer of healing for Dean who was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer last August and it's progressing. Prayers for healing and God's will be done. 
  • From Eric: Please pray for a couple whose young son has been diagnosed with leukemia; Eliot and Eva has a young son who is very sick and in the hospital. Pray that he is healed and doesn't have to be flown to Philadelphia for treatment.
  • Please pray that Trish is completely healed from cancer.
  • Bob and Naomi ask for prayers for Baby Esther as she was recently sick and teething so she has not been eating as much and has lost weight. Her doctors are concerned every time she loses weight. Please pray for weight gain for Esther and peace and strength for her mother Bekah.
  • Prayer for Brandi as her dad called to say that she has officially been diagnosed with Leukemia and will undergo treatments in Portland for a few weeks. 
  • Nicole shares: Praise! My husband’s sciatica has gone and God has refreshed his spirit. He is back to reading the Bible on the regular and said he would go to church Sunday. Please pray for the devil and the flesh to be at bay and for God to have his victory and the devil to no longer have a hold on him.
  • From Mandie who suffered from panic attacks: I am so beyond thankful for this radio station and the people that work there you guys don’t even know how much you change peoples lives on a daily basis from the song you guys play that seem to just be the right song for that very moment or something that might be said at just the right time 
  • Prayers for Kevin and Amy as their sweet daughter, London, has been having unexplained seizures for months. They are in Boston and she is undergoing so many tests, trialing treatments.
  • Pray for a man's daughter who finds out soon whether or not she has leukemia.
  • From Ryan: Hello WHCF friends and family, I have a guy friend of mine that is in the hospital in Bangor and the doctors are trying to life flight him to New York. Please pray that God's will would be done with this situation he's been having digestive issues. He has an internal bleeding.
